Historically speaking...
I've always been what you would call an "English kid". I excelled in the humanities, though I never neglected my math and sciences. However, throughout high school I worked on the staff of my school's yearbook, eventually having the privilege of leading the development of a book myself as Editor-in-Chief. I learned to love journalism, which led me to my major. From there I realized I had questions, and the inclination to explore them. My academics and my research interests are closely linked, and I look forward to exploring both as I develop myself both professionally and as a researcher.
